In her early career, she worked at the prestigious public accounting firm Arthur Andersen and with Estee Lauder Hemisphere as a Credit Manager. Grace López-Williams has achieved great success as a Latina entrepreneur in Atlanta since she moved there in 1994.
Her thriving and successful accounting practice is a testament to her relentless pursuit of professional excellence and the determination of a Latina woman to make a difference. In 1999, this remarkable entrepreneur founded the renowned accounting services company GW CPA. Thanks to an appointment by Governor Sonny Purdue, Grace López-Williams became the first Hispanic woman on the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.
She has provided our communities and the state with a solid list of accounting services delivered with excellence by her and her team. Over the past three years, López-Williams has transformed the firm to offer her clients personalized tax planning services tailored to their needs. López-Williams has not only obtained the Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 licenses to be a registered FINRA representative, but she is also a Certified Tax Coach, a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS).
